Reiki & Energy Healing FAQs
-
What is reiki and how does it work?
Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan. The name combines two Japanese words: “rei,” which means universal, and “ki,” which is the vital life force energy that flows through all living things (a.k.a. qi). The modality involves a practitioner using their hands to channel universal energy to remove blockages, balance the energy flow, and enhance the body’s natural healing energy. This is how Reiki helps heal the mind, body, and spirit.
